Every airport runs differently and presents opportunities and events in their own way. Navigating how your airport works can be confusing at times, so having someone that has been through the process before and can answer your questions and guide you is key! We call our mentors Captains and they are here every step of the way.

Finding the right CFI (Certified Flying Instructor) - your flying teacher! Each CFI is different and has different methods of instruction. Your mentor can help you find who is your best fit. You will be spending A LOT of time with the CFIs you fly with so it matters that you feel comfortable with them!

Sierra-Tango Sisters was made for pre-teen/teenage girls who are under the age of 18 and are excited to learn how the world of flying works. Mentors are generally 2+ years older than their cadets so that they can share their experiences and advise the younger girls!
*If your airport does not have a crew, don’t worry! We would love to have you. We will put you in the nearest crew to you geographically and keep you connected online with all events and communication!
