Scholarship Opportunities

Female-focused aviation clubs offer a variety of scholarships for girls going through the student pilot process. Researching each one can be time consuming so we are here to help you sift through them and see which ones might be best for you. There are a lot of organizations who want to help girls get off the ground!

Women Aviation Organizations

Your first step should be to join the major female aviation organizations. These include:

THE NINETY_NINES

Inspiring women pilots since 1929, the 99s are an international group with thousands of members around the world and over 150 chapters. Chapters are “mini clubs” that meet locally so they can be involved in aviation closer to home and support the 99s mission: to promote the advancement of aviation through education, scholarships and mutual support.

WOMEN IN AVIATION INTERNATIONAL

WAI seeks to help and encourage women to pursue careers in aviation. Like the 99s they have many local chapters that are active and regularly meet and assist one another in their aviation pursuits. Their focus is to provide programs that support their members at every stage of their lives in aviation and aerospace.
